On September 28, China's Ministry of Commerce released the China-US mutual tariff-reduction list covering USD 30 billion of imports on each side. Over 90% listed items will remove extra duties and apply MFN tariff rates.
The US side's list covers household articles, small home appliances, baby & children products, toys, festive decorations and daily-use goods, many of which are key export categories from China.
The booming export of these light consumer goods will drive demand for supporting logistics packaging. As a manufacturer of plastic collapsible crates and stacking containers, we are closely watching this tariff adjustment. Plastic logistics containers for US warehousing, fresh produce and food industries remain our key focus. Favorable tariff rules for packaging products may help reduce import costs for our overseas buyers.

Please note that only broad product categories are available at this stage. Detailed item-level catalog and effective date are pending completion of domestic legal procedures in both countries. The policy will mainly benefit bulk trade and overseas-warehouse shipments.
Exporters targeting the US market are suggested to follow official updates and review HS codes for future business planning.
