1. When using pallets with hydraulic pallet trucks and forklifts, the distance between the outer edges of the forks should be maximized to the outer edge of the pallet's fork entry point, and the fork entry depth should be at least 2/3 of the total pallet depth.
2. When moving pallets with hydraulic pallet trucks and forklifts, maintain a constant speed for forward, backward, up, and down movement to avoid sudden braking or sharp turns that could damage the pallet or cause goods to collapse.
3. When placing pallets on shelves, ensure they are placed stably on the shelf beams, and the pallet length should be at least 50mm longer than the outer diameter of the shelf beam. Which type of plastic pallet is suitable for cold storage or high-intensity environments? Polypropylene pallets cannot be used in temperatures ranging from ±40℃. Polypropylene is not resistant to low temperatures. If you need to place pallets on shelves in a cold storage facility, it is best to use double-sided pallets. For lighter loads, you can choose zigzag or cross-shaped pallets. Additionally, in low-temperature environments, modified polypropylene has proven to be perfectly suitable. Modified polypropylene is a high-temperature incomplete polymerization product of polyethylene and polypropylene. It combines the toughness of polypropylene with the low-temperature resistance of polyethylene, has stable physical properties, and is wear-resistant and impact-resistant. Large chemical plants and low-temperature cold storage environments generally recommend using this type of material.
Plastic pallets made from low-pressure high-density polyethylene can be used; plastic pallets made from pure raw materials can withstand temperatures as low as -30°C.
