1)600 × 400 mm - the standard pallet module:
Four per layer on a 1200 × 800 Euro pallet, five per layer on a 1200 × 1000 pallet, with no overhang. Existing racking, trolleys and pallet plans keep working.
2)Ventilation slots along both long sides:
Air moves through the load, which matters for produce and for anything that comes out of a wash bay. The open slots also let staff see what is in a crate without lifting the one above it.
3)Stacks one way, nests the other:
Turn the crate 180 degrees and the base ribs drop between the ribs of the crate below, so empties nest into a compact column. Turn it back and the corner shoulders land squarely on the crate underneath for a stable stacked load.
4)Ribbed base and side walls carry the load:
The reinforcement runs from the floor ribs up into the side walls, so weight travels through the frame instead of the panel. The crate keeps its shape under a full stack without the extra kilos that uniform thickening would add.
5)Accurate stacking locators:
Yellow positioning blocks on the rim lock layers into alignment, avoid lateral slip during stacking and keep columns stable in transit.

✨What is a Stack-and-Nest Crate?
A stack-and-nest crate (also called a nestable or nesting turnover crate) is a reusable plastic crate with two stacking modes. When full, it stacks upright on top of the next crate, forming a firm column. When empty, it slides down inside another crate (nested state), so empty crates take up very little height. This "stack when full, nest when empty" design is what sets it apart from a regular fixed-height crate.

A: By rotation. In the stacking position the corner shoulders rest on the crate below. Turned 180 degrees, the ribs on the base sit between the ribs of the crate underneath and the crate nests down. No parts to move, no clips to release - staff turn the crate by hand.
